We finished Dawson’s nursery at 30 weeks and now I feel like I can sit back and enjoy it these last two months. I still can’t believe that I am going to be a Mommy to a baby boy but he’s coming! I am so excited to finally share all that we’ve done.
I always knew if we were to have a son I would want his nursery to have a wilderness theme. His Daddy loves the outdoors. Camping, fishing, hunting – you name it. I know that Dawson is going to join him on so many adventures! I stuck with a brown and tan color scheme while adding in some navy and dark green. I feel like this room will transition well from baby, to toddler, to big kid, etc.
Another favorite touch to the room is this large faux fur bear rug that was gifted to him by his great grandparents. If you have been following me you know that Juliette has the white one in her room and we absolutely love it.
In the opposite corner of the room we have some corner bookshelves, also my husband’s handiwork. I plan on getting more fun pillows as he gets older so he can have his own reading nook. Joren also made the crate that’s in the corner filled with stuffed animals.
