The DockATot was on the market when Juliette was tiny but we never ended up taking the plunge and ordering one. Was it worth the price tag? Was there magic sprinkled inside to really calm and make for a restful baby? Every Mommy friend would rave about it so when I had the opportunity to review this cozy lounger with Dawson I leaped at the chance!
I know a lot of parents use the DockATot for co-sleeping but my husband and I prefer that he be in his own bed. They definitely aren’t just used for co-sleeping! DockATot is a multi-functional lounger, which is what we use ours for on a daily basis. Being a Mommy to a two year old and a newborn I often times have to set Dawson down in a safe space to tend to Juliette’s needs, ie: our dock. It is tested for breathability, made of all natural 100% cotton, and is OEKO-TEX certified. The DockATot comes in two different sizes, the DockATot Deluxe for ages 0-8 months and the DockATot Grand for ages 9-36 months.
DockATot has been designed to offer a snug and soothing environment for babies, much like the womb. Dawson really enjoys stretching out, relaxing and taking cat naps while cozy on his DockAtot. I love the fact that he’s safe and sound. I often carry it from room to room which has proven to be so convenient. I find myself placing it in Juliette’s room during our bedtime routine or in the playroom while her and I do activities together. I love that he can use it as he grows and it can be incorporated into playtime and tummy time.
-lightweight and portable
-comes with a clear case for easy travel
-machine washable cover
-option for different patterned covers
-excellent quality, well made
-price point is on the more expensive range, especially if you want to upgrade to the next size up
If you’re a mom to be, first time mom or fifth time mom I definitely give my full recommendation! While the DockATot Deluxe+ was gifted to my family I would absolutely invest in the next size up for Dawson when he grows out of this one! Do you have a DockATot for your babe? What are your thoughts?
