It’s that time of year again! The time where I wonder how my baby is possibly another year older and the time I reminisce on the day we met. We came together with our family and friends to celebrate our sweet and bubbly two year old and we had a splash!
For Juliette’s birthday party I really wanted to go with a theme that she loved…and she sure loves Bubble Guppies! I am not big on character parties so it was fun to go with an under the sea theme with adding in touches of Bubble Guppies throughout! The main colors were purple, pink and teal with a few accent colors to tie in the guppies.
I searched Etsy for a fun and colorful Bubble Guppies invitation, and to my surprise there were so many to choose from! This one was my favorite so I ordered the personalized invitation PDF and had them printed at Staples.

We kept up with our tradition – a cupcake with a number candle for the birthday girl!

I really wanted to create a statement for the background at the main party table. I ended up creating a balloon garland and adding a large number 2 balloon along with it. Honestly, I was pretty intimated before making the balloon garland but it was pretty simple! I covered my photo backdrop frame with a white sheet. I ordered a balloon decorating strip off of Amazon and that made it super easy. We used safety pins and a little bit of string to secure everything to the backdrop. It turned out just how I wanted!
My Mom and I were at Dollar Tree and saw these clear plastic Christmas ornaments. She immediately thought they looked like bubbles! She strung them together and hung them on the chandelier. It was the perfect thing!
I kept her highchair relatively simple since I knew she wouldn’t be sitting in it for very long! I added a pink placemat from YeahBabyGoods on Etsy and an iridescent banner along the front. We also had water beads in vases as a fun touch.
The bubble ball pit was definitely the highlight of the party! The kiddos had a blast playing in it! I ordered a blow up pool from Amazon and we filled it with a mixture of ball pit balls, clear beach balls and balloons. Honestly I don’t think Juliette is going to let me put it away!
Behind the pool on the playroom wall I added green streamers to create seaweed. Amazon had Bubble Guppies wall decals which really tied the area together.
Fishketball is a game they play on the show so I thought it would be fun to take the cornhole that my husband made and decorate it. It turned out to be a fun activity for the party!
On our entryway table I placed this fun letterboard listing all of the guppies names, to include the birthday guppy herself! I also set out the party favor bags for the kiddos who attended. In the bags I included water beads, colorful slinkies, sweet tarts and bubbles. I found a website (here!) with a lot of Bubble Guppies printables, including gift labels. I thought they were so sweet for the party favor bags. We also had the gift table set up in the entry for convenience.

I had to give a mention to Shop Pink Blush for gifting me this amazing sweater! I saw it and immediately thought it was perfect for the party. It was so soft and I was very comfortable, which is important as I was running around with Juliette and our guests! As always, one of my favorite things about this company is you can wear the majority of their pieces during your pregnancy and after as well. I was a huge fan during my first pregnancy and it is no shock that I am this time around. Thank you, Pink Blush!
Thank you so much for all of the sweet birthday wishes and to everyone who made this day so special!
